Three full seasons and part of a fourth behind us, we must adopt a new narrative in the wake of Oklahoma’s 45-3 Saturday victory at Temple.

Such a triumph, offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle’s unit reached 500 yards and quarterback John Mateer again spoke for the team coming off the field, yet head coach and defensive coordinator Brent Venables’ unit was even better, allowing 104 yards against team that had already gained a thousand.
