A new medium, and a promise to be better
I’m delinquent.
On Monday, my friend Ryan Welton posted our second, and as yet unnamed, podcast, and the truth is, after listening for a few minutes, I was upset with my performance.
You may find it entertaining, but I struggle to find a period, or a return, when speaking in the podcast format. When writing, I spend a good deal of time editing, or sculpting, my words once a first draft’s complete.
Live, or sort of live, that option does not exist.
I must do better at bringing my thoughts in for landings.
But if you’re interested in the Anthony Kim story, my all-time top 10 Sooner men’s basketball player list, or even my opinion on a recent Supreme Court decision, I’ve got you covered.
So, if you’ve long enjoyed my words in print or on screen, or enjoyed them for just a short time, I welcome you take a listen and, hopefully, note my progress in a new medium.
I promise to be interesting.
I’m working on my delivery.
That, and future me will not wait to post, no matter how disgusted I am with my performance.
